Update on State CHP Regulation: Progress and Challenges
A panel of officials from northeast states will provide a brief overview of the recent legislative activity in their states that is designed to impact CHP deployment, highlighting both the objectives of the activity and the challenges that they currently face in its execution.  Time will be set aside to allow for a lively engagement with the audience. Opportunities Presented by the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative
The economic opportunity for reducing carbon will take a giant step forward when the regional greenhouse gas trading program (RGGI) commences.  Carbon offsets  provided by CHP  and other technologies c ould be spurred as a result.  This panel will explore how states involved in setting up the  RGGI carbon trading program expect opportunities for CHP and recycling energy to expand.
